The successful candidate will be responsible for defending and litigating a variety of employment-related claims, providing strategic advice to employers, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws.

Job Details:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits encompassing a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in various legal settings, including court proceedings, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations, focusing on matters such as class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.
• Offer comprehensive advice and counsel to employers on a diverse array of labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, with a strong background in employment law, is highly preferred.
• Active admission to the Michigan Bar or the ability to obtain admission promptly.
• Familiarity with current court and employment-related agency procedures at both state and federal levels.
