Civil Litigation - Complex Litigation (T)

Complex Litigation Bureau: The Complex Litigation Bureau represents the interests of the in high-impact, high-visibility cases, generally involving constitutional challenges, first-time statutory interpretation, or complex management, including simultaneous litigation in multiple jurisdictions on the same legal issues. The Bureau also handles time-sensitive litigation such as temporary injunction matters and elections cases. The Bureau provides a high level of legal analysis often under tight deadlines on matters that have a high impact on both the Attorney General’s Office and the citizens of the State.

The Attorney General serves as the attorney for the State of Florida and as a member of the Florida Cabinet (For more information about the Attorney General visit the Role and Function of the Attorney General).

Florida Attorney General's Office is seeking motivated law students for their internship program in various divisions and locations in the state. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical experience and contribute to meaningful work while completing their degree. The internship program is open to students enrolled in an accredited ABA law school, and applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.

The internship opportunities are available in various divisions, including Civil Litigation, Criminal Appeals, Consumer Protection, and more. Locations for internships include Daytona Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee, and others. The number and locations of internships available each term are based on agency need and opportunity.
