Synopsys, a global leader in innovative technologies, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Counsel to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have excellent business judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The Corporate Counsel will be responsible for handling commercial contracts and supporting transactions in North America. This includes reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex agreements such as software license agreements, SOWs, NDAs, and purchase agreements. They will also represent the company's position on contract issues during customer negotiation calls and liaise with stakeholders from various business groups.

To succeed in this role, the candidate must have excellent communication skills, integrity, and flexibility. They should also be able to work collaboratively with sales and engineering teams. A . from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in California are preferred.

The base salary range for this role is between $132,000 - $198,000, with the possibility of additional benefits such as equity and discretionary bonuses.
