Position Summary:

- Seeking experienced tax professionals for a Senior Tax Consultant position in the real estate industry
- Opportunity to use and develop the latest tax technologies to serve clients

Work You'll Do:

- Provide tax compliance and consulting services to investment management clients
- Identify complex tax issues and provide tax analysis for various entities and their affiliates
- Responsibilities include detail-level reviews of partnership work papers, allocations, and tax returns, as well as preparing materials and research for consulting projects
- Coordinate and communicate with client contacts to gather information for tax returns
- Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced-level tax staff

The Team:

- Global leaders in providing professional services to the Investment Management industry
- Comprised of over 2,800 partners, managers, and staff, providing a spectrum of assurance and advisory, tax, enterprise risk, regulatory, and consulting services
- Clients include investment advisers and administrators from all sectors of the industry

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work within a hybrid work model (in-person and remote)
- 3+ years of experience in tax planning services or preparing client work papers and income tax returns
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- Basic understanding of Subchapter K, partnership allocation methodologies, and tax compliance process for real estate funds
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on the work and clients served
- Active accreditation such as CPA, licensed attorney, Enrolled Agent, CFA, or CFP

Preferred:

- Advanced degree (Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM)
- Experience working in a virtual or global environment
- Passion for leveraging technology and exploring new solutions
- Experience with accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC740
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Excellent research, writing, presentation, and communication skills

Salary Range: $63,420 to $144,300 (dependent on factors such as skill sets, experience, and certifications)

Annual Incentive Program: Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance
