Job Overview: A law firm seeks a diligent Civil Litigation Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to handle various legal matters, including drafting and reviewing documents, assessing legal needs, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient resolution of legal issues. Duties:

• Work directly with the business to handle legal matters professionally and efficiently.
• Draft and review legal documents related to civil litigation and insurance defense.
• Assess legal needs and provide appropriate legal counsel.
• Review company policies, procedures, and business/legal policies.
• Handle general liability, professional liability, construction, complex commercial litigation, and medical malpractice cases.

Requirements:

• Accredited Law degree.
• 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or legal practice.
• Experience in handling civil litigation, insurance defense, and related matters.
• Strong legal knowledge and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong client service orientation and exceptional decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
