A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney for their San Francisco, CA office.

Job Overview:
The Litigation Attorney will represent clients in legal proceedings, provide legal advice, conduct research, and prepare legal documents.

Job Details:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of asbestos litigation experience.
  • Superior research and writing skills.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Experience managing a case docket and appearing in court is preferred.
  • Admission to California Bar.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California Bar.

Skills:

  • Asbestos litigation experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
