As a Trial Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in all assigned cases with competence, ethics, and diligence. This includes handling cases of moderate to severe complexity and/or exposure, and may also involve assisting other attorneys with their cases. You will have the opportunity to work on cases in all areas of tort practice, providing a diverse and challenging work experience.

This is a remote position, with in-person appearances required throughout South Florida. Key Responsibilities:

- Handle cases of moderate to severe complexity and/or exposure, including preparing pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs.
- Attend hearings, conferences, interviews, trials, or arbitrations as required.
- Functionally supervise other attorneys who are assisting with assigned cases.
- Consult with and provide opinions to members of the Claims Department on insurance policy and personal injury claim questions.
- Keep supervisor informed of work progress and any issues encountered.
- Maintain and update computerized litigation support systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree and law school degree required.
- Member in good standing of the State Bar in the state where the position is located.
- At least 3 years of experience as an Attorney, including civil jury trial experience or equivalent dispositive ADR experience or comparable outside experience.
- Ability to handle high case loads in adversarial or confrontational situations.
- Strong public speaking skills.
