Job Title: National Tax Services Exempt Organizations - Sr Associate Salary Information: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting for not-for-profit organizations H1: Join Our Team as a Sr Associate in National Tax Services Exempt Organizations H2: Competitive Salary and Exciting Opportunities for Growth and Development Overview: - Join our team in the United States National Tax Practice as a Senior Associate in the Exempt Organizations team. - Work with a variety of tax-exempt organizations, including colleges and universities, healthcare entities, foundations, and cultural and religious organizations. - Assist charities in achieving measurable results and navigating tax-exempt status, planning opportunities, revenue generation, executive compensation, and tax compliance. - Be a part of PwC Professional, our global leadership development framework, and develop skills and abilities to succeed in a constantly changing world. Responsibilities: - Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness and address development areas. - Delegate to others and provide coaching for stretch opportunities. - Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Utilize a broad range of tools to extract insights from industry trends. - Review work and ensure quality, accuracy, and relevance. - Seek opportunities for exposure to different situations and perspectives. - Communicate effectively and build quality relationships. - Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required, preferred in Accounting or Taxation. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting for not-for-profit organizations. - Juris Doctorate degree preferred. - CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar certification preferred. - Knowledge of exempt organization tax issues, tax compliance and consulting, and programming in SAS or equivalent statistical software. - Experience conducting statistical analyses and providing consulting services for tax-related issues. - Technical skills in tax compliance and consulting for not-for-profit organizations and various tax forms. - Ability to research business and industry trends and develop a point of view to assist with proposals. - Understanding of automation and digitization in a professional services environment. - Experience with pricing, client value, and negotiation processes.
