  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating and drafting lease agreements.
  • Experience representing both landlords and tenants, with a preference for landlord-side work.
  • Strong understanding of real estate laws and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.

Certifications:

  • Certification in Real Estate Law (preferred but not required).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Business development skills, with a portable book of business, are considered a plus.
