Legal Internships at Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN) - Fall internship: 12-20 hours per week from August to November - Spring internship: 12-20 hours per week from January to April - Summer internship: 40 hours per week for 10 weeks from May to August - RMIAN offers educational opportunities for law students interested in immigration advocacy - Fall and spring internships are unpaid, while summer internships are paid ($8,000) - Ideal candidate is dedicated to immigration legal services, aware of systematic inequality, committed to anti-racism, and has a demonstrated commitment to equity and justice - Must be currently enrolled in or completed an immigration law course and be proficient in a non-English language - Responsibilities include legal research and writing, assisting with case tasks, preparing applications and filings, conducting intakes, and collaborating with RMIAN staff and other organizations - Gain knowledge about the immigration legal system, cultural awareness, and experience in a nonprofit work setting To apply, send a resume, writing sample, and tailored cover letter to in one PDF file.
