Job Overview:

The Senior-Level Health Care Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel and representation to clients in healthcare regulatory and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in this field, with a strong focus on business transactions, regulatory diligence, fraud and abuse issues, licensure and enrollment, and reimbursement within Medicare and Medicaid frameworks. Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in health care regulatory and transactional matters.
  • Conduct regulatory diligence and structuring for business transactions.
  • Advise on fraud and abuse issues, including Stark and anti-kickback laws.
  • Assist with licensure and enrollment matters.
  • Address reimbursement issues within Medicare and Medicaid statutory and regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage internal and external client and counsel relationships effectively.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Texas State Bar (or willingness to become admitted).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in health care regulatory and transactional matters.
  • Experience representing providers and professional entities preferred.
  • Strong business and entrepreneurial sense.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Texas State Bar.
