A law firm is seeking a Senior-Level Health Care Associate Attorney for its El Paso, TX, location.

Job Overview:

The Senior-Level Health Care Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel and representation to clients in healthcare regulatory and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in this field, with a strong focus on business transactions, regulatory diligence, fraud and abuse issues, licensure and enrollment, and reimbursement within Medicare and Medicaid frameworks. The candidate should demonstrate strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork and client service.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in health care regulatory and transactional matters.
• Conduct regulatory diligence and structuring for business transactions.
• Advise on fraud and abuse issues, including Stark and anti-kickback laws.
• Assist with licensure and enrollment matters.
• Address reimbursement issues within Medicare and Medicaid statutory and regulatory frameworks.
• Manage internal and external client and counsel relationships effectively.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Texas State Bar (or willingness to become admitted).
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in health care regulatory and transactional matters.
• Experience representing providers and professional entities preferred.
• Strong business and entrepreneurial sense.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Texas State Bar.
