  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and mediations.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters to negotiate settlements.
  • Assist senior attorneys with case strategy development and trial preparation.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting casualty litigation.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • 3+ years of experience handling premises liability, auto accidents, labor law 240, and general liability matters.
  • Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.
  • Trial experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar.
