Job Overview:

The Insurance Recovery Associate Attorney will provide legal assistance to policyholders navigating insurance coverage matters. They will work closely with clients, partners, and other attorneys within the firm to ensure the effective resolution of insurance claims.

Duties:

• Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues to assess the viability of claims.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other documents.
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and other relevant parties to negotiate settlements or pursue litigation when necessary.
• Participate in case strategy meetings and contribute to the development of legal strategies.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
• Stay abreast of relevant legal developments in insurance law and provide updates to the firm.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• 2-5 years of experience working on insurance coverage matters on behalf of policyholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills:
