This is a full-time Assistant District Attorney position in the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office’s Children’s Division, in the highly specialized area of Children in Need of Protection or Services (CHIPS). (See the position details, below.) This is a State position in the unclassified service.
Salary Information The starting hourly rate is per hour - per hour (approximately $55,536 - $72,800 annually), depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Attorneys who are currently employed by the State of Wisconsin are invited to apply and may be able to transfer at their current pay rate. Attorneys who have left the position of Wisconsin elected District Attorney or Assistant District Attorney within the last five years may be able to be hired at a wage rate above the minimum.
