A law firm is seeking a Pre-litigation Attorney in Killeen, Texas. The attorney will be responsible for meeting with clients, conducting motion work, managing discovery, handling depositions, and participating in mediations. Additionally, they will develop and implement strategies to cultivate positive relationships within the support team, aligning with the firm's overarching goals and objectives.

Duties:

• Meet with clients to assess legal matters and provide guidance.
• Execute motion work, including drafting legal documents such as pleadings and motions.
• Manage the discovery process, including document review and response.
• Conduct and participate in depositions.
• Participate in mediations to negotiate settlements.
• Develop and implement strategies to foster productive relationships within the support team.
• Ensure alignment of strategies with the firm's goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• State Bar certification in Texas.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in personal injury law or related legal field.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).

Certifications:

State Bar certification in Texas.

Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
