A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney for their Tyler location. The attorney will be responsible for representing clients in various legal proceedings, including but not limited to meetings with clients, motion work, discovery, depositions, and mediations. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) and State Bar certification in Texas. Board of Legal Specialization Certification is preferred. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in Personal Injury law.

Duties:

• Meet with clients to discuss legal matters
• Handle motion work, including drafting and arguing motions in court
• Conduct discovery, including gathering and reviewing evidence
• Conduct depositions of parties and witnesses
• Represent clients in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Prepare and present cases for trial

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• State Bar certification in Texas
• Board of Legal Specialization Certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Personal Injury law

Education:
