- Recent law school graduate (within the last four years)
- Excellent writing and analytical skills
- Completed a course in mediation (helpful, but not required)

- Appointee may be required to possess a valid driver's license in New Jersey
- US citizenship is not required, but selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US
