Job Description:

- Conduct research and analyze legal data
- Prepare legal memoranda
- Process emergent motion applications
- Proofread published opinions
- Assist with processing emergent motions
- Gain practical experience in mediation
- Summarize information for judges

Qualifications:

- Graduated from a law school approved by the American Bar Association
- Recent law school graduate (within the last four years)
- Excellent writing and analytical skills
- Completed a course in mediation (helpful, but not required)

- Appointee may be required to possess a valid driver's license in New Jersey
- US citizenship is not required, but selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US
- Thorough background check, including fingerprinting, required
- Residency law: must establish and maintain principal residence in New Jersey
