Tax Transformation Senior Manager - National Tax | 32 Locations

Position Summary:

The Tax Transformation Senior Manager role at Deloitte is responsible for driving improvements in client service delivery through people, process, and technology initiatives. Responsibilities:

- Understand and drive Tax business strategy and transformation goals
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive business outcomes
- Coach and develop the Tax Transformation team to enhance delivery capabilities
- Manage multiple projects across Tax service offerings and business threads
- Define and manage detailed workplans, resource estimates, and budgets
- Monitor and track key results, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests
- Identify and implement process improvements through collaboration with Tax professionals
- Conduct business process analysis and apply agile and design thinking techniques
- Decompose business requirements into functional requirements
- Collaborate with technology teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Oversee user testing and develop learning strategies and materials
- Assess business readiness and analyze user feedback for action plans
- Lead deployment and decommission legacy systems
- Provide executive reporting and integrate program and project resources

The Team:

Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office is a team of professionals with diverse backgrounds including Tax Professionals, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, and IT professionals. The team consults and executes on a wide range of projects with a focus on process design, deployment, and adoption. This includes stakeholder analysis, communications, learning, and change management.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model with 2-3 days of in-person work per week
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or information technology related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on project work
- Active accreditation in one of the following: CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or Technology Certifications
- Strong program and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of data analysis, management, and metrics
- Experience in end-to-end technology project delivery
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a professional services environment

Salary Information:

The wage range for this role takes into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, and other business needs. The estimated range is $125,510 to $285,749. Compensation decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and may not reflect the top of the range for the role.
