This is a remote or hybrid position, with the opportunity to work on revolutionary systems that impact people's lives around the world. As a Principal / Senior Principal Contract Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work on the Marine Systems Business Unit's largest program team. This team manages a $200M per year contract that delivers precision, high-performance machinery for the US Navy. The position reports directly to the Manager of Contracts and serves as the primary contact with the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate the company's response to customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
- Ensure proposals are fully responsive to customer requirements
- Develop and execute negotiation strategy
- Maintain excellent working relationship with customers
- Oversee contract performance
- Advise program team of contractual rights and obligations
- Maintain and update contract documents and official program records
- Provide direct contract support
- Research contract issues and prepare analysis
- Work cooperatively with technical staff
- Other contract-related tasks as needed

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in contracts, subcontracts, finance, or other business management related function
- Will consider 10 years of experience in lieu of degree requirement
- . citizenship
- Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

- Recent experience as a Contracts Administrator in the defense industry
- Excellent working knowledge of FAR and DFARS
- Experience working with fixed price and cost reimbursable contract types
- Understanding of weighted guidelines
- Working knowledge of every stage of the contract lifecycle
- Experience working with Changes clauses in contracts
- Pricing and/or finance background with advanced skill in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of ITAR/Export Regulations
- Prior experience using SAP
- JD or MBA
- NCMA certifications (CPCM, CFCM, CCCM, or CCMA)
