CLA is seeking an experienced Tax Manager or Director to join our growing tax practice in Milwaukee, WI. Responsibilities:

Manage and develop relationships with clients in the manufacturing industry.
Utilize a variety of tools, including wealth transfer and estate planning, to assist clients in meeting their tax and financial planning objectives.
Conduct research and draft technical tax memoranda on various tax issues for clients.
Review and sign tax returns, serving as a subject matter expert when needed.
Mentor and develop staff and oversee client engagement teams.

Requirements:

Six years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, with a focus on tax.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification required; JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA certification.
Strong passion for public accounting and helping others.
Ability to lead and mentor a team.

Salary Information:

Tax Manager: $98,000 - $162,000 per year
Tax Director: $130,000 - $225,000 per year

Experience Information:

Six years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, with a focus on tax.
