The Alliances Manager position at LexisNexis Legal & Professional is a full-time role that involves identifying and evaluating potential acquisition or partnership opportunities. The position is vital in expanding the company's portfolio and driving overall business growth. The Alliances Manager will act as a principal liaison for LexisNexis’ portfolio of Print content alliances, representing the company at an executive level. They will also be responsible for identifying and creating new strategic relationships with content providers that align with the company's vision and long-term strategy. Additionally, the Alliances Manager will be responsible for managing contract renewals, driving profitability of the portfolio, and ensuring that all parties involved meet their contractual obligations and achieve strategic objectives. Responsibilities: - Act as a principal liaison for LexisNexis’ portfolio of Print content alliances - Identify and create new strategic relationships with content providers - Drive profitability of the portfolio - Manage contract renewals and renegotiations - Work cross-functionally to ensure all parties meet contractual obligations and achieve strategic objectives Requirements: - Experience in negotiating and executing corporate partnerships and licensing agreements - Diplomacy and solid business judgment in difficult situations - Ability to represent LexisNexis at an executive level with excellent interpersonal skills - Excellent negotiation skills and/or sales techniques - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - General knowledge and experience in developing business relationships - In-depth understanding and experience with LexisNexis technologies, products, and services - Versatile communication skills with a proven ability to negotiate - Proven problem-solving skills - Work-life balance is important at LexisNexis, and the company offers various benefits to promote it.
