The successful candidate will have a . degree, 5-7+ years legal practice in corporate commercial law with proven general counseling experience in a business environment, and prior experience as in-house counsel. They will have a broad legal knowledge, an in-depth understanding of how legal issues affect organizations, and excellent judgement and analytical skills. Job Description
Corza Medical is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel to provide legal advice, counsel and representation to the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate, pragmatic and timely advice to business leaders on a variety of legal topics, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements, managing internal contract review and retention process and systems, providing input on internal governance policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications

. degree. MA in Business Administration or related field will be considered an asset
5-7+ years legal practice in corporate commercial law with proven general counseling experience in a business environment.
Prior experience as in-house counsel strongly preferred.
Overall broad legal knowledge (corporate law, litigations, contracts, etc.) Working knowledge in commercial compliance, privacy, licensing, and regulatory matters a plus.
In-depth understanding of how legal issues affect organizations
Ability to develop legal strategy and objectives with a business and solutions-oriented mindset
Well-versed in how businesses operate, baseline financial acumen.
High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas
Ability to anticipate legal issues or risks and to “see around the corner”
Excellent judgement and analytical skills
Excellent writing skills. Must be able to summarize complex issues in a clear, succinct, and accurate manner.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, engage resources and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experienced team leaders, with demonstrated experience in talent development.
Expertise in Microsoft suite and Contract Management Systems.
Limited travel.

What You Will Do in This Role
