A law firm in New York City is actively seeking an experienced Employment Associate Attorney with 5-7 years of employment litigation and counseling experience. The ideal candidate should have New York admission, and New Jersey admission is considered a plus.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation on employment-related matters.
• Handle employment litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Advise clients on employment law compliance and best practices.
• Participate in negotiations, mediation, and settlement discussions.
• Draft and review employment-related contracts and agreements.
• Collaborate with clients, senior attorneys, and support staff.
• Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar is required.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is a plus.
• 5-7 years of employment litigation and counseling experience.
