XYZ Corporation is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Managing Counsel to join our Legal Department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of legal professionals and providing legal guidance and support to the organization. This is a hybrid position, allowing for both remote and in-office work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee a team of legal professionals and provide guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide legal advice and support for various business initiatives and projects.
• Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the company's interests.
• Manage and resolve any legal disputes or claims that may arise.
• Stay up-to-date on industry and legal developments to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
• Develop and implement legal strategies and policies to support the company's goals and objectives.
• Conduct legal research and provide recommendations and solutions to complex legal issues.
• Handle any other legal matters as assigned by the General Counsel.

Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of residence.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing and developing a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and legal procedures.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
• Proven track record of handling legal disputes and claims.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal software.
