The Senior Trial Attorney will have the opportunity to make a difference by representing insured and the company in the defense of bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, subrogation, and Allstate Financial cases. This includes preparing for and conducting hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions, as well as arguing pre and post-trial motions. The Senior Trial Attorney will also provide counsel to business clients on day to day issues and assist colleagues in resolving conflicts in their calendars.

The Litigation Services Attorney job family at Allstate is responsible for managing Insurance Defense and Tort Litigation/Disputes work and related issues/matters. As a Senior Trial Attorney, the key responsibilities will include reviewing new file assignments, contacting clients and claims, preparing witnesses and clients for depositions, conducting court appearances, and managing settlement/dispositive proceedings. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate degree and be a member in good standing of the LA State Bar, with up to seven years of Insurance Defense, Subrogation, and/or Personal Injury litigation experience. Trial and/or Arbitration experience is preferred, and experience in No Fault and/or SIU is a plus. Strong computer skills and the ability to work well with others on a team are also necessary for this role.
