Summary:

The Tax Partner in the Financial Services department at Crowe LLP is responsible for leading and shaping the future of the firm's tax practice. This full-time position is available in 12 different locations and requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, a CPA or JD certification, and at least 12 years of progressive tax experience. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and shape the future of Crowe LLP's financial services tax practice
- Establish and nurture business relationships to attract new clients and expand services to existing clients
- Maintain exceptional tax technical knowledge and stay current with tax changes and industry trends
- Oversee client engagements and provide alternative strategies to lessen tax burden and capitalize on tax credit opportunities
- Build and manage a high-performing team that fosters collaboration and empowers employees to reach their full potential
- Collaborate with other firm leaders to provide exceptional service to clients and drive revenue growth
- Optimize financial performance of the banking practice through budget management, process improvements, and resource allocation

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting required, masters or advanced degree desirable
- Certified Public Accountant or JD required
- 12+ years of progressive tax experience, including experience in a professional services firm serving financial institutions clients
- 5+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
- Strong understanding of the financial institutions industry
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships
- Innovative and forward-thinking leader with a proven track record in building and developing teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to strategically plan for growth and exceptional client service
- Ability to cross-sell firm services to existing client base while adhering to independence standards
