Join Our Product and Marketing Legal Team - H2 heading

As our Senior Counsel, you will work across our portfolio of brands, providing legal guidance and strategy for a wide variety of issues to cross-functional teams and associates at all levels, including senior leadership. You will handle commercial matters, contracts, advertising, marketing, product collaborations, intellectual property, and licensing. You will also have the opportunity to develop trusted and strategic relationships with the business, deeply understanding each brand's key strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities - H2 heading

In this role, you will:

- Provide leadership and support to the legal team and the business focused on the proper management of risk in all areas
- Collaborate with other VF legal team members to support team initiatives around the world
- Structure, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts
- Provide creative and practical legal and commercial advice and counsel to business clients
- Work with VF trademark and patent paralegals
- Collaborate with various other departments in the Legal team regarding privacy issues
- Lead, manage, and direct the successful and efficient delivery of services by outside counsel
- Assist with and/or manage litigation matters with outside counsel
- Perform other legal tasks as assigned to contribute to the overall success of each brand in the VF portfolio

Qualifications and Skills - H2 heading

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- 10+ years of relevant legal experience, combination of firm and in-house experience preferred
- . and member of the bar in good standing in at least one . jurisdiction
- Experience working with a wide variety of contracts
- Experience in retail and/or footwear and apparel industry a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational, judgment, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Self-motivation and a strong work ethic

Compensation and Benefits - H2 heading

Hiring Range: $177, USD - $221, USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards, including an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
