A law firm in Deerfield Beach, FL, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 0-3 years of experience to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing pleadings and motions, making court appearances for motions, conferences, and mediations, conducting legal research and writing, and maintaining effective communication with clients, outside counsel, and Court personnel. The Associate Attorney should have a positive, respectful, growth-oriented mentality, coupled with strong organizational skills and a proven ability to balance and prioritize a high-volume workload.

Job Duties:

• Prepare pleadings and motions for various legal proceedings.
• Represent clients in court appearances for motions, conferences, and mediations.
• Conduct thorough legal research and produce well-written legal documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, outside counsel, and Court personnel through written and oral means.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and growth-oriented mentality within the firm.

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of legal experience.
• Admission to practice and in good standing in Florida, including respective federal district courts.
• Admission to practice in other states is a plus.
• Experience in drafting pleadings, appearing in court, and researching legal issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance and prioritize a high-volume workload.
• Positive, respectful, and growth-oriented mentality.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• Admission to other state bars is a plus.
