Job Title: Insurance Defense Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Frisco, TX, is seeking an Insurance Defense Litigation Associate Attorney to support all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trials. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of practical litigation experience, prior insurance defense experience, and/or jury trial experience, and be well-organized to assist with managing a high-volume caseload. Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills are essential for success in this role.

Duties:

  • Support all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trials.
  • Assist with the management of a high-volume caseload.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as required.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3+ years of practical litigation experience.
  • Prior insurance defense experience and/or jury trial experience is a plus.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Ability to work well in a teamwork-driven environment.
  • Capability to manage fluctuating priorities and deadlines with ease.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
