A law firm is seeking a Senior-Level Health Care Associate Attorney for their Las Vegas, NV office.

Job Overview:

The Senior-Level Health Care Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in health care regulatory and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions. They will also advise on fraud and abuse issues, licensure and enrollment, reimbursement, and regulatory diligence and structuring.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients on health care regulatory and transactional matters.
  • Assist clients in mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and structuring.
  • Advise on fraud and abuse issues, including compliance with Stark and anti-kickback laws.
  • Handle licensure and enrollment matters for health care providers and professional entities.
  • Assist clients with reimbursement issues within Medicare and Medicaid statutory and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in health care regulatory and transactional matters.
  • Experience representing providers and professional entities in business transactions.
  • Strong understanding of fraud and abuse laws, including Stark and anti-kickback laws.
  • Knowledge of licensure and enrollment processes for healthcare entities.
  • Familiarity with reimbursement issues within Medicare and Medicaid frameworks.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar in Nevada (or willingness to become admitted).
  • Certification in health law (preferred).

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
