Job Overview:

The Family Law Associate Attorney will provide legal support and advice to family law clients. They will assist with discovery, draft memorandums, pleadings, and other documents, and participate in court appearances. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional attention to detail, time management, organizational, and writing/communication skills. They must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and an independent thinker, able to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.

Duties:

  • Assist with discovery processes in family law cases.
  • Draft memorandums, pleadings, and other legal documents.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Active license in good standing in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
  • 1 year of family law and trusts & estates experience is preferred.
