A law firm is seeking a Real Estate Litigation Attorney for their New York City office. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal representation in various real estate litigation cases.

Job Overview:

• Provide comprehensive legal representation in various real estate litigation cases, including property conflicts, construction litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, zoning, and land use matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and case preparations, providing clear and actionable advice to clients.
• Draft and prepare various legal documents for court proceedings and settlements, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients effectively in court proceedings, from trials and hearings to arbitrations and mediations, ensuring their interests are safeguarded.
• Collaborate closely with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services and achieve successful client outcomes.
• Manage and prioritize a substantial caseload, maintain time and records, meet deadlines, and ensure the efficient progression of cases.

Duties:

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 7+ years of demonstrated litigation experience in real estate or related civil litigation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state laws about litigation, real estate, and contractual matters.
• Knowledge of industry standards and customs.
• Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret legal documents, statutes, and complex case-related information.
• Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to foster strong client relationships and effectively represent clients in legal proceedings.

Education:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
