A law firm in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of cases in state and federal court, from pre-trial preparation to trial. This includes court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trial. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning, including experience as first chair in at least 2 jury trials, and formidable negotiation skills.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of cases in state and federal court
• Conduct pre-trial preparation, including legal research and drafting motions
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and negotiations
• Conduct trials, including serving as first chair in jury trials
• Handle a large and active caseload from filing through verdict
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
• Collaborate with colleagues and legal staff on case matters

Requirements:

• A license in good standing to practice law in Florida
• Proven track record of winning, including jury trials with a minimum of 2 trials as first chair
• Ability to handle a large and active caseload
• Formidable negotiation skills

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Bar admission in the state of Florida
