Duties:

  • Oversee and manage structured finance transactions, including securitization and capital markets transactions.
  • Draft complex commercial contracts, including pooling and servicing agreements, administration agreements, indentures, and trust agreements.
  • Provide legal opinions, including bankruptcy opinions.
  • Manage financial transactions, including overseeing junior associates' work, drafting and preparing documents, and successfully closing transactions.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in structured finance transactions, including securitization and other capital markets transactions.
  • Knowledgeable about commercial law matters, including the uniform commercial code, securities law, and bankruptcy-related issues.
  • Admitted to and a member in good standing of the California Bar.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California Bar.
