Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing high-quality and cost-effective legal representation to clients, focusing on Constitutional Defense, Commercial Liability, Auto, and Premise Liability cases.

Duties:

  • Handle case intake, including client meetings and initial assessments.
  • Develop case strategies and budgets to ensure cost-effective representation.
  • Manage cases from inception through resolution, including research, advice, reporting, negotiation, litigation, and appeal.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex legal matters.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Admission to practice law in the various State and Federal Courts of Florida.
  • Certificate(s) of Good Standing from appropriate governing bodies.

Education:
