A law firm in Chicago is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their team. The Real Estate Associate Attorney will preferably have big firm experience and will be responsible for handling commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, real estate finance, joint ventures, and development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, superior drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to take on significant project responsibility in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the candidate should be diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, supportive, and team-oriented. Admission to the Illinois Bar is preferred.

 

Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Assist with real estate finance matters.
  • Participate in joint ventures and development projects.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
  • Conduct due diligence and title review.
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on real estate matters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve project goals.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Big firm experience preferred.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Admission to the Illinois Bar preferred.
  • Superior drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to take on significant project responsibility.
  • Diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, supportive, and team-oriented.

 

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
