Duties:

  • Draft and prosecute patent applications related to cutting-edge technologies in life sciences.
  • Conduct patent validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
  • Support IP due diligences, patent litigations, and post-grant proceedings (IPR, PGR, interferences).
  • Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters in the life sciences field.
  • Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop strategic solutions.
  • Take on significant responsibility in legal research and analysis.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of substantive experience in intellectual property law.
  • Advanced degree (. preferred, or .) in biological sciences.
  • Registration to practice at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Admission to a State Bar, preferably in Massachusetts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Superior academic background.
