The attorney will play a significant role in the group, contributing to the growth of the practice to serve leading technology companies navigating cybersecurity regulation complexities. The candidate should possess experience in incident response, cyber counseling, and familiarity with FTC, SEC, or state AG policy and enforcement regarding cybersecurity. Superior academic credentials and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel to clients on privacy and cybersecurity matters.
  • Assist in incident response efforts, including data breaches and security incidents.
  • Advise clients on compliance with cybersecurity regulations and best practices.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations.
  • Draft legal memoranda, opinions, and other documents.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on cybersecurity risk management strategies.
  • Stay updated on developments in privacy and cybersecurity law.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in privacy and cybersecurity law.
  • Experience with incident response, cyber counseling, and FTC, SEC, or state AG policy and enforcement regarding cybersecurity (desirable).
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Admission to the Bar in a . jurisdiction.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in a . jurisdiction.

 

Skills:

  • Knowledge of privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations.
