Job Overview: A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience in complex finance transactions, preferably with a focus on sponsor-backed leveraged finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running fundamental aspects of transactions, from due diligence through closing, and representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.

Duties:

• Serve as a key member of deal teams, managing essential aspects of transactions from inception to completion.
• Conduct due diligence processes efficiently and effectively.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents.
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients regarding finance transactions.
• Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and support staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Stay abreast of legal developments, industry trends, and best practices relevant to finance law.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in complex finance transactions.
• Demonstrated experience in sponsor-backed leveraged finance preferred.
• Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.
• Licensed and in good standing in the state of Pennsylvania.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
