A law firm is seeking a Business Attorney for their New York City office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of legal matters about business transactions, corporate law, trademarks, and Mergers and Acquisitions.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and support on business transactions, corporate governance, and Mergers and Acquisitions.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Assist in negotiations and settlements on behalf of clients.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, if necessary.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in the state of New York.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Knowledge of business law, corporate law, and Mergers and Acquisitions.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
