A law firm is seeking a Trust, Estate Planning, And Probate Attorney for their Ridgefield, CT, office.

Job Overview:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on trust and estate planning matters.
• Handle probate proceedings and estate administration.
• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Assist clients in developing comprehensive estate plans to achieve their goals and protect their assets.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to trust and estate planning laws.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including trusts, wills, and advance directives.
• Represent clients in probate court proceedings, including contested matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and objectives.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal services.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in trust and estate planning and probate law.
• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Connecticut State Bar or ability to become admitted promptly.
• Strong academic background with excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Connecticut State Bar or ability to become admitted promptly.
