Job Overview: A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel with extensive experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) and a proven track record of success in AmLaw 100 firms. They will supervise associates, communicate with clients, draft legal documents, and contribute to case strategy.

Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Supervise associates and guide on legal matters.
  • Assist with fact development and depositions.
  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Contribute to case strategy development.
  • Produce high-quality work products within specified deadlines.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required.
  • Perform other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • . degree and Bar admission.
  • 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably in an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Direct and applicable experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) is preferred.
  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
