Job Overview

As a Staff Real Estate Specialist at Northrop Grumman, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that have a direct impact on the company and the world. This is a virtual position, allowing for flexibility and remote work options. You will be responsible for planning and executing real estate projects for the company's global real estate portfolio, including commercial and industrial leasing, property acquisitions and dispositions. This role requires strong negotiation and contract skills, as well as experience with market studies, financial analysis, and valuation.

Responsibilities

- Plan and execute real estate projects for Northrop Grumman's global portfolio
- Collaborate with legal counsel, facilities, and external brokers to outline business goals and negotiate favorable terms
- Conduct market studies and financial analysis to inform real estate decisions
- Actively participate in continuous process improvement efforts to enhance the company's real estate function
- Provide strong leadership and communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, economics, engineering, business law or related discipline with at least 15 years of experience in commercial and industrial real estate contract negotiation OR Master's degree with at least 13 years of experience
- Strong negotiation and contract skills
- Experience with real estate market studies, financial analysis, and valuation
- Formal training in negotiation skills preferred
- Familiarity with IBM Tririga real estate database preferred
- MBA or JD Law with 8 years of detailed real estate lease contract negotiation experience preferred

Salary and Benefits

- Salary range: $123, - $185, (may vary based on experience and qualifications)
- Discretionary bonus and long term incentives may be available for eligible employees
- Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, and paid time off
