Position Summary:

- Seeking a Tax Senior with experience in partnership taxation, team leadership, and client advisory services to join our growing team in the largest growth area of the tax industry.
- This role offers the opportunity to work with our largest clients and develop and thrive in the most strategic part of our tax practice.

What You'll Do:

- Utilize your prior experience to provide tax compliance and advisory services to investment management clients.
- Assist clients with effective analysis, solution development, and implementation of tax objectives.
- Manage client relationships by delivering tax advisory services.
- Perform detail-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax filings.
- Coordinate and communicate with client contacts to gather information for tax returns.
- Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced-level tax staff.
- Prepare and lead client meetings on compliance and advisory projects related to tax planning opportunities and tax implications of transactions.

Qualifications:

Required:

- 3+ years' experience in tax planning or preparing/reviewing tax work papers and returns.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field.
- One of the following accreditations: CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or certifications such as CFA or CFP.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on work and client needs.

Preferred:

- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience.
- 2+ years' experience in investment management or partnership taxation.
- Knowledge of Subchapter K, partnership allocation methodologies, and tax compliance for investment partnerships.
- Experience with fund accounting and general ledger accounting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
