The successful candidate will be responsible for advocating for injury victims, interacting with clients, gathering evidence, and developing compelling legal arguments. This role requires membership in the Massachusetts Bar, trial experience, and strong negotiation skills.

 

Duties:

  • Ensure injury victims are adequately represented and compensated for their losses.
  • Interact with clients to understand their post-injury challenges and concerns.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to gather evidence to establish liability, causation, and damages.
  • Analyze evidence and secure expert opinions when necessary to support legal arguments.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for advocating on behalf of clients.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense attorneys.
  • File lawsuits, conduct paper discovery, and take and defend depositions.
  • Regularly update client and case information within the Litify case management system.

 

Requirements:

  • Membership in the Massachusetts Bar in good standing.
  • Experience as first chair at a trial.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating personal injury matters.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in the Massachusetts Bar in good standing.

 

Skills:
