Position Summary:

- As Commercial Counsel at HackerOne, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's mission to build a safer internet.
- You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating a high volume of contracts, advising on corporate governance matters, and providing legal support for business development and innovation.
- This is a hands-on role that requires excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills, as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft and negotiate a variety of contracts, including SaaS agreements, distribution agreements, and data processing agreements, among others.
- Review product and commercial matters, such as vendor and partnership agreements, and provide legal advice and support.
- Advise on corporate governance matters, audits, annual report filings, and other corporate transactions.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support business development and innovation.
- Provide clear and pragmatic legal advice to non-lawyers on commercial and corporate matters.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school (JD) and bar admission in good standing in your practice jurisdiction.
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience at a law firm or in-house, including transactional experience and ideally with international exposure.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change within a rapidly growing company.
