# Associate Attorney

Wagstaff Law Firm is looking for an experienced Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal support and assistance with pre-trial preparation. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with excellent writing and communication skills, attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and strong time-management skills. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of professionals and learn the intricacies of the mass tort process.

## Job Description

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for supporting trial preparations, drafting complex legal memorandums, managing a large docket of cases in multiple states, evaluating merits of potential cases, conducting legal research on cases, document review, drafting and responding to discovery, defending and taking depositions (including experts), preparing expert reports and assisting with trial preparation, and corresponding with opposing counsel and clients to facilitate the legal process.

The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic; possess excellent writing and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, strong time management, and be as committed as we are to providing the best service to our clients. Wagstaff Law Firm is a professional work environment with a casual dress code. Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k plans are offered.

## Qualifications & Requirements

Position requires 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in mass tort. Juris Doctorate required from accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado. Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English. Must be able to work overtime and travel. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical in addition to working well under tight deadlines. Able to prioritize multiple projects and comply with the firm and court deadlines. Maintain CLE credit requirements.

Strong writing skills and judicial clerkship experience preferred.

## Compensation

Compensation starting at $135K-150K. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K matching plus quarterly performance based bonuses.
