# Internship Program at the New Jersey Division of Law The New Jersey Division of Law offers law students the opportunity to serve an internship during their Fall or Spring Semesters or during their Summer breaks. This internship program provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable legal experience while observing a wide range of lawyering activity. ## Benefits of the Internship Program The New Jersey Division of Law Internship Program offers law students several benefits. Students will gain practical legal experience in a professional setting, while observing a wide range of lawyering activity. Additionally, interns will attend court proceedings, meetings with clients, depositions and other special events. Those accepted to the program will be assigned to one of the Division’s sections, where they will be supervised by a Deputy Attorney General. An Assistant Attorney General will have overall supervision of the program. ## Requirements Law students interested in the Internship Program must submit an Internship Application, resume, legal writing sample and their most recent grade report to the appropriate recruiter.
