Job Description:
- The successful candidate will serve as the 3M Technology Legal Director, primarily supporting the IT and Legal Affairs organizations on technology-related matters and initiatives.
- Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of technology contracts, advising on data privacy and security issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying abreast of emerging legal trends, managing and resolving technology-related disputes, and conducting legal research and analysis.
- The role also involves coordinating with the Sourcing organization and providing training on data protection.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership is preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in technology law in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide practical legal advice, manage multiple projects efficiently, and balance business needs, compliance obligations, and reputational risks.
- Fluency in German is a plus.
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures is a plus.

Work Location:
- Remote (Employee choice) with the option to work on-site or in a hybrid model.

Pay & Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is $215,577 - $263,483, including base pay and variable incentive pay.
