Fight a Shrinking Legal Workforce While Saving Time and Money Applying to Legal Jobs
December 12, 2013
Pasadena, CA - According the U.S. Labor Department’s monthly report in November, published on December 6th, the legal industry in the United States lost 1,100 jobs, which means that the legal industry is still shrinking due to many people unable to find work. An inventive solution to finding a legal career even with a shrinking industry has now been launched by Harrison Barnes, the founder and CEO of LawCrossing, a leading law employment site. With this new service, called LawCrossing Concierge, clients will have highly trained recruiters highlight and apply for jobs for them that match their background, experience, and goals. It’s designed for attorneys and other legal professionals who want a new job, but don’t have time to spend hours a day filling out applications. It enables clients to work and live their normal lives, while having someone else do the hard work of finding them a new, more aligned career.

According to Barnes, ''LawCrossing is the pioneer in introducing new search features for finding legal jobs, and is the largest legal job board in the world. The site provides resources for law students, attorneys, and legal staffers alike. With fewer lawyers finding work, this service is needed more than ever before.”

The team of researchers, programmers, and analysts at LawCrossing has access to jobs from over 50,000 career pages, other job boards and more. With the addition of LawCrossing Concierge, clients not only have access to these jobs, but also have the added benefit of having a recruiter search the database for them. With no need to be on multiple sites, spending hours in front of the computer searching for and then applying for jobs (which could take quite awhile), members of LawCrossing Concierge get to go about their lives, knowing that each day they get closer to finding the career of their dreams, all the while saving money in the process.

This service has previously been offered to attorneys for $1,000 per month. Currently, LawCrossing is making this service available to job seekers for only $299 per month. This is an introductory price that the company has announced in order to get the word out about this program.

LawCrossing is being very careful in screening those who apply for this program, as the goal is to help people with their job search. In order to apply, you need to call Christy Moon at 626-243-9365, or get in touch with her by email: cmoon(at)lawcrossing(dot)com. Unfortunately, not everyone who applies can be accepted, because the trained professionals at LawCrossing need to scan through your resume first in detail and make sure that you are a good fit for this program.
